HE Lt. Gen. Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and General Security, chair of the Anti-Narcotics Council presided the 8th meeting for 2021 that was held virtually with the participation of presidents of the high national committees under the council, as well as officials and directors of Anti-narcotics in the UAE.
The council discussed the direction of the National anti-narcotics strategy in line with the strategic orientation of the government in the next strategy cycle. The council provided insights on what needs to be implemented given the coming challenges and aspirations, and updated targets, KPIs and innovative projects and initiatives.
