The Aqdar world summit continues with its leading initiative and excellent functions that create opportunities, contribute in enhancing innovation and creativity among youth. This reflects the positive side of society empowerment, and fosters growth and prosperity, made possible by broadcasting the vision for Global Positive Citizenship, held at present in the Fazaa pavilion at Expo 2020.
The Aqdar roundtable included an exceptional session on the role of global cinema and photography in enhancing global positive citizenship, co-organized with the Federal Youth Authority. The session addressed the role of cinema and photography in transmitting a positive message about the idea and values that global citizenship is built on.
The Culture Cooperation Forums continue with an interactive program to enhance the concepts of positive global citizenship, through cultural and intellectual exchanges during the Indian Emirati cultural forum, that harnessed dialogue, the divergence between both cultures, and the characteristics of the people of both countries.
The Emirati Credibility platform showcased the main skills of Emirati nationals in modern technology, and how keen they are to accompany the latest global technological developments. Discussions touched on Technologically immune Emiratis . The session was jointly organized with the Digital Quality of Life Council.
The Emirati and I Can platform shed light on the positive and excellent citizenship models. The session featured Shamma and Sheikha Abdel Aziz Al Masmin, two Emiratis with determination, who have been awarded international and local sports prizes. They spoke about their ambitions inspired by the leadership vision to empower people with determination and support them in all fields.
The Aqdar discussion panel addressed the role of local and international organization in enhancing the concept of positive global citizenship, held with the participation of HE Judge Dr Hatem Ali, UNODC regional representative in the GCC and HE Dr. Mohammed Abdullah al Ali, Executive President and founder of Trends research and studies. The session was moderated by HE Mohammed Jallal Al Raisi, executive director of the UAE news agency WAM.
The international event concluded with Popular heritage and Global Positive Citizenship in collaboration with the Hamdan bin Mohammed Heritage Center and Expo 2020 pavilions. Speakers presented the symbolism of the palm tree, a common popular heritage between the UAE and Indonesia. The Palm tree expresses the civilization and history of both countries, is a national symbol that recounts their renaissance and cultural heritage.
