Under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, Lt. Gen. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, inaugurated the 31st Abu Dhabi International Book Fair.

The Fair is organized by Abu Dhabi Center for Arabic Language of the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi.

The opening ceremony was attended by HE Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, HE Saud Al Hosani, Undersecretary of the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, HE Dr. Ali bin Tamim, President of Abu Dhabi Center for Arabic Language, and Saeed Hamdan Al Tenaiji, Executive Director of Abu Dhabi Center for Arabic Language, Director of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair.

The ceremony was also witnessed a huge turnout of thinkers and book and literature lovers.
