Third MOI Ramadan Council discusses "Hope Probe" developments
Under the patronage of Lt. Gen. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, the third virtual Ramadan Council of the Ministry of Interior has been held today. The council was titled The Hope Probe, and was held in the presence of HE Sarah Bint Youssef Al Amiri, Minister of State for Advanced Technology.
Keynote speakers at the council were Eng. Omran Sharaf, Project Manager of the Emirates Mars Exploration "Probe of Hope" and Eng. Suhail Betti Al Dhafri, Deputy Project Manager for Probe Development Affairs, Eng. Hessa Rashid Al Matroushi, Deputy Project Manager for Probe Scientific Affairs, and Engineer Mohsen Mohammed Al Awadi, Systems Engineer and Scientific Stage Leader.
The council was moderated by mediaperson Youssef Abdul Bari. Participants in the council discussed the latest developments in the UAE strategic project and the prospects for investment in the space sector and sciences and the great scientific benefit the world will gain from the project.
HE Sarah Bint Youssef Al Amiri, Minister of State for Advanced Technology affirmed that the UAE has invested in the future with the wisdom of its leadership, and has achieved scientific achievements towards broad horizons of glory, noting that the success of the Hope Probe was despite the challenges and difficulties and by the national teams that volunteered the impossible in facing challenges and overcoming them, leading to the unprecedented success we are witnessing today.
Al Amiri said that the wise leadership invested in this pioneering project not only in order to achieve success and reach Mars, but to make advanced sciences as a way of life to effect positively generations to achieve their dream and ambition and benefit from their talents and abilities. We will also benefit from space science in developing a national knowledge-based economy" she added.
