The center of professional development at the MOI General Directorate for capacity building, in presence of Lt. Gen. Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Commander of the police and Secretary General in Dubai, organized a graduation ceremony for participants in the Crime analysis and prediction pioneer program held at the center. The program is part of efforts to raise policing capabilities of participants.
The ceremony was attended by Brigadier General Mohammad Obeid al Dhaheri, MOI Human Resources Director, Brigadier General Abdel Aziz Ahmad, Deputy Director of Federal Criminal Police, Colonel Dr. Omar Al Ali, MoI director of capacity building, as well as a number of officers and program participants from the Ministry of Interior as well as police leadership.
Crime analysis and prediction pioneer included specialized technical training in the fields of confronting crime using the best techniques, modern means and electronic programs, It also includes studying criminal behavior and means of predicting crime through data analysis, methods and proactive solutions to face challenges in police work,
The trainees in the program gain the ability to design crime analysis models using concepts, equations, statistical standards, and calculating rates. Spread of crime and the prediction of strategic events.
