The UAE Ministry of Interior took part in the second meeting of the taskforce assigned to consider the formation of a team to monitor terrorist threats and immediate analysis of terrorist acts.
The meeting was organized by the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers in Tunis, in the presence of delegations from Arab countries' Ministries of Interior.
This meeting comes within the framework of the periodic meetings held by the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers for the year 2021 to combat terrorism and tackle crime and acts of extremism.
During the meeting, the extent of the possibility of forming a team to monitor terrorist threats and immediately analyze terrorist acts. This to deal with opportunities for improvement and as execution of the decisions of their Highnesses and Excellencies the Arab Interior Ministers.
The aim of all these efforts is to enhance the exchange of information related to terrorist threats in the Arab region, and the exploration of future challenges and risks resulting from the analysis of terrorist threats.
